I am Bodhi Debnath; serial maker of digital businesses, startup growth advisor and a mover in the climate action space. When I moved from leading up growth for a SAAS empire of six brands and multi-million dollar revenue portfolio to taking up Head of Growth at a brave new climate tech startup, I did it with the same knee-jerk reaction that’s been my career trademark. Only difference was that the reaction wasn’t just because I was tired of corporate war rooms, but because I was dealing with an increasing sense of helplessness.
Helplessness at being climate-aware but not knowing what to do about it or even if I mattered. So when the opportunity came to actually, maybe, have a real impact, I acted.
As I become increasingly aware of the worsening effects of climate change and its devastating impact on our planet, I felt powerless as an individual in the face of such a grand problem. It wasn’t until my work with Terra.do as Head of Growth that I saw how my skills could help make meaningful strides in combating climate change by igniting mass action through businesses already working in climate. Hence the coming of Project 3rd Rock — where I now work with climate and sustainability businesses to help them grow and thereby have an exponential positive impact.
