The Problem

Climate communicators learn frameworks in intensives but leave without workflows. The gap between knowing the theory and producing real content stays wide — concepts live in slides, never reaching production.

The build

A 6-module production toolkit with 15 live playgrounds. Each module ships a working tool: Story Spine Builder with AI narrative feedback, Audience Diagnostic, Value-Frame Translator, 5-stage content pipeline, Ground Truth Document generator, and a scrollytelling build planner.

The Vanishing Earth

The Problem

Critical climate data — tipping points, threshold distances, ecosystem decline rates — gets buried in dense reports, academic jargon, and walls of numbers. The urgency is real but invisible to anyone outside the research.

The build

A scrollytelling interactive that makes five critical ecosystems viscerally legible — each with a D3 globe, animated threshold visualization, and scroll-driven narrative. Functions as both a standalone editorial piece and a reference implementation for Terra Studio students.

The build

A Python NLP pipeline with a custom 12-category skill taxonomy, 6-dimension scoring rubric, and greedy assignment algorithm with load balancing, rejection handling, and Phase 2 continuity logic.
